Doesn't this still lack packaging? The value of docker is not in the runtime (which is terrible) but in the packaging. Also, port remap?

Tar is quite reasonable tbh - if you wanna get fancy you could also distribute rabin-chunked deltas. Docker's is ok but not that great

haha, yeah I'm planning to use https://github.com/mafintosh/hyperdrive … + rabin chunking tho - sharing images deltas over a p2p swarm is just too good :D

lol, yeah maybe for most people it is - but we're building a hyperdrive registry anyway so repurposing it for ops isn't a terrible idea :P
