ESLint 3 dropped support for Node 0.10 and 0.12 on July 1, 2016. We updated for bugfixes, better language support, etc.
dang yeah that's been a while - just found it like weird that they'd drop support: I can't think of any reason to drop support tbh

I think they wanted to start using ES6. That's the reason that most folks drop 0.10. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

doesn't make a big difference as long as you also run your tests on v4+ The source code doesn't change between versions
