Managing state is like super hard

why??? side-effects are way harder for me
I find side effects to be easily expressible as functions; managing state is much harder. I wonder if reactive programming helps

confused. I can always express state changes as pure functions using composition. Don’t know your use case

oh but that's operating on state - it's the shape of data, reconnect patterns, edge cases and migrations that make it hard imo
