I get both questions and hate on my twitch stream when i’m coding in ES5, it boggles me.

dunno. I normally just say that I don’t want to add a transpiling pipeline to most of my open source node libraries

the syntax sugar I get from complicating the dev setup for potential contributors is just not worth it at all.
