Which MacBook should I buy for preact dev?
Basically for Atom, Chrome & Terminal.
Current laptop is a 2013 rMBP 15" (i5/8gb).

I could probably get by fine with the m7/8gb, but multiple webpacks + atom windows + chrome tabs might suck
"might" is key here - you're a person that builds tooling, understanding what avg devs experience is crucial @martinvandriel

did you stick with Chrome on the 12" or switch to Safari for the lighter tab cost

I'm quite reliant on chrome tbh, still get a good ~5hrs of battery out of it when building stuff generally (:
