tried hyperterm and yeah it's not for me; noticed huge CPU spikes and that doesn't bode well with Battery Driven Development (BDD)
read from the documentation that hyperterm uses Redux and so probably React too - immutability isn't great for (performant) realtime UIs

that depends on how many things are not being rerendered or deep compared due to immutablity. But for append heavy.. I agree?

I was mostly thinking about the load on the GC. It's the same reason why immutability isn't well suited for audio & graphics
