oh yeah, definitely; RAF and nextTick are totes different things - all nextTick does is make a thing non-blocking

which is useful to normalize when mixing blocking and non-blocking - either always block or never, lest there be bugs

that sounds like what setImmediate caters for to me. Doesn't browserify already shim nextTick? Have you checked that code out?

yes I have, and setImmediate is available in virtually no browsers so under the hood it's probs setTimeout(fn, 0) anyway
