      why? The last release had two new additions, one syntax addition and one method addition. Little releases, often.

      latest release is ECMAScript 2015 and that was released 15 months ago. Before that was ECMAScript 5 released December 2009.

      proposals are moved up in stages all the time. If JS is a living spec, those are the releases
