I work on a 12" screen. If anything is more than 80 chars wide / cannot be grasped in half a screen's worth of height it's useless for me
Like literally: I can't work on lots of scrolling text or long lines. It's incredibly frustrating, and too few people seem to relate

Also another fun constraint: I mostly work on a battery, and have very limited CPU cycles even when plugged in. It's performance or nothing

on webstorm when reformatting code it automatically breaks lines longer than 80 chars..but it's kinda heavy for the rMacbook
