A linter for JS but where you lint for features you don't want people to use. No "let" in my codebase please

it's alien to JS - have no idea why it's there
I mean both options are valid, but having both is the worst possible outcome - I've never felt the need for block scoping so idk

beginners get tripped by hoisting which is why JS community at large considers var retired. Legacy for backwards compatibility.
