what’s to dislike about block scoping?
A linter for JS but where you lint for features you don't want people to use. No "let" in my codebase please

var's cool - wish const had no block scoping but it does so alright. Also wish TC39 didn't hate JS but they do so it ok I guess

yup, but "let" is still ok if it's a mutable reference. I don't ever want people to use "let" - ain't no rule for that unforch
