nah, I disagree; existing Unix systems are a total mess and packaging that stuff up into managed abstractions provides sanity

I guess it depends on the context of your work. In mine (early stage startups), migrating to Docker was a mistake.

yeah think the ecosystem is only now coming together well; k8 makes handling docker easier, but it's *just* getting usable it seems
