Very close to just give up and finish building my own server framework - there's so much garbage going around I just can't deal with

you know you're a real expert once you're so opinionated you end up building your own stack and walling off from society

is this you saying I'll be out of touch if I continue going down this path or ..? idk, just want to have non-smart reliable stuff :/

I'm just saying that expertise and taste inevitably seem to drive me toward building my own "stack" of bespoke tools.

and the only way I've found not to also fall out of touch is to literally travel the planet to teach them to people.
