Yeah I think I'm convinced that config files are not great; using env var plays way better with containers

configs are nice for dev, though we usually allow to override everything with ENV. For docker reasons :)

I'm a fan of https://github.com/lorenwest/node-config … 's approach. Provide defaults in config file, allow overriding from multiple sources.
