I'm actually more and more convinced REST API's are bad. RPC is the way to go. Function calls are what we do so why not be consistent?

yeah but then that's like saying tire fires were worse 10 years ago because tires were made of asbestos. How bout no fires

Man, I've dealt with some super painful APIs in my life... APIs and async code is why were are all in this mess. ;)
