I'm actually more and more convinced REST API's are bad. RPC is the way to go. Function calls are what we do so why not be consistent?

at best, I can auto-build a full Api client just from one rest endpoint. RPC could recreate that, but it's not free like REST.
you could totally do that, hypermedia is not exclusive to REST, just map out how stuff works and feed it to swagger or smth
