The more I think about it, the more I like the idea of interfacing with APIs using the filesystem - the world needs more FUSE apps

have had success with this in the past, though many tools aren't designed for the filesystem having 100ms+ of latency.
haha, lol yeah can imagine but some of the simpler things should work alright, right?

I assume we're talking about sshfs specifically. Yep. Can sweep away need for silly wrapper API around the filesystem.

oh, neat! was actually thinking of google drive / dropbox as a FUSE app haha; no actual data on local disk
