Ahhh, might have figured out a sweet spot for throttling GC pauses, immutable data and RAF calls - too sick to implement now, but prob soon!

oh actually the trick is to copy the data at the start of a raf tick; apply all changes _by mutating the copy_ and then flush it

that way there's wayyy less GC; and data changes don't accidentally leak back into the view - needs copy-on-write only too tho
