Babel doesn't make you use JSX. Thats a setting to turn on or off

babel also doesn't make you use ES6, like with anything babel it's fully opt-in; but it's there and widely used

same with Flow and Typescript. I think these tools benefit us rather than hurt JS.

the benefits of these tools is another, probably more interesting discussion. All I'm saying is that "it's not JS"

morphdom & pull-stream look interesting. hadn't heard of either before. any morphdom vs snabbdom perf tests yet?

just looked at that streams benchmark comparison. Most.js isn't on there. also looks like rxjs is version 4
