Apparently ES modules can rebound their exported values at any given point making it impossible to properly instrument. Nope nope :(
Also implicit strict mode is going to give Node a really hard time. Ambiguity everywhere! - ES mods was def not designed with Node in mind

believe Node people are in talks with TC39. I'm sure we won't end up with .mjs or something equally ludicrous if it can be helped
