Maybe I *should* just take indefinite time off; go live in the middle of nowhere - write OSS and be pleased with myself

There's like all these things I want to learn; things I want to write; not having to worry about making money makes life easier
But on the other hand: not sure I can afford to do that now. Also: middle of nowhere isn't a very social place
