I often feel that the people that propose omitting files (documentation, etc) from bundles have the privilege of consistent internet access

For us who do not have reliable internet access, not being able to view docs and tests (as a fallback) is a severe hindrance

npm package footprint could definitely be optimized, but in my opinion that shouldn't be the concern of packages; pnpm has the right ideas
