What do people think of Contributor License Agreements? Have you ever decided not to contribute after realizing you have to sign a CLA?

@feross ESLint's (http://eslint.org/cla/ ) is at least very simple and painless to fill out. Apache's (https://www.apache.org/licenses/cla-corporate.txt …) seems awful.
@feross only compelling point I ever heard is that it becomes possible to track all contribs should the license ever change
