@FrozenFire new patch versions of Node or something wayyyy more unstable might introduce lil bugs - sometimes being deterministic is nice

@yoshuawuyts it's super easy to override node, and you can gate your channel on tests succeeding etc

@yoshuawuyts you can also pin the channel — but what you're asking for is essentially pinning specific functions in a module
