@FrozenFire what about signals and stuff? shell scripts and the like? how do you envision those?

@yoshuawuyts I'm not really all that enamoured by untyped communication between components, the core abstraction is sort of a typed pipe

@yoshuawuyts the vast majority of the real OS bits don't need to live inside the kernel — you get linearly-typed memory pages + typed pipes

@yoshuawuyts and some APIs to talk to hardware, but my vision of the OS as a whole is relatively special-purpose
