@tjholowaychuk @BrendanEich We've ought to stop direct comparisons. One is a primitive. Other an impl detail. Promises use "callbacks".

@trevnorris It would be more correct to say both Node-style callbacks and promises use *functions*. And with async/await, not for long.

@domenic just because sugar is poured on top doesn't mean users are shielded from understanding callbacks, proms are higher level than cbs

@yoshuawuyts @domenic The more I've been rooting around in promise impls, the less I believe that promises are sugar over callbacks.
