Benchmarks state that vdom implementations (including React) cap at 58fps, which means you should never use it to animate stuff
@andreypopp nah, just that one bench I saw had all vdom implementations running under 60; believe the google one sat at 58

@andreypopp yeah, but vdom diffing itself causes slowdowns - anims should live outside a vdom context; or so experience has shown - 1 more reply
