@yoshuawuyts Yeh I know. It's an umbrella term, just saying sometime there's team members to help but contracting is much harder.

@JimmyMorrisUK what sorts of limits have you encountered? Did you find you had a rougher time working with smaller teams / companies?

@yoshuawuyts Didn't work well IMO. FE devs had to fix things & ownership was diminished. But the edges of FE are getting more blurred...

@JimmyMorrisUK sounds like an implementation problem; I reckon there's more ways to achieve better designs

@JimmyMorrisUK I'd like to see more constraints being placed from tech leads; e.g. "renders should happen <.5seconds" or "max 50kb js size"

@yoshuawuyts Sort of already happens, people talk about performance budgets but it's always a trade off.

@JimmyMorrisUK In my experience budgets were always imposed last; I'd like to see strict budgets being used as the starting point
