One thing Angular, Clojure, React all would benefit from is dissent and disruption. Hiring every major contributor undermines creativity.
@searls spot on. Though if you consider frameworks to be giant ads, hiring major contribs makes a lot of sense for the companies making them

@yoshuawuyts I do consider them to be that, but the public perception is "OMG SHINEY" and doesn't realize they're investing into fragility -
@searls I find that frameworks instill fear to those that use it. They keep lying that the world outside the framework is dark and scary
