@jaffathecake I'd prefer timeout semantics like I've described to be built in, so that I don't have to wrap and pipe everything myself.

@yoshuawuyts what do you want that you can't do now? If you want full paint control, there's webgl, but guess you want something in between?
@jaffathecake it wouldn't have been a problem if the DOM was just a lib on top of webgl, could resort to a lower level when needed.

@jaffathecake but it's not, and for perf we need a way to flush control down. The way it's done in userland is fine imo, it works -
