@yoshuawuyts 15gb for all my repos, not just a single one. Maybe have a --unlink command to make it copy over rather than link.
I'd love to see a thing where npm dependencies are symlinked to a global read-only repo rather than copied. My deps take up 15gb currently

@yoshuawuyts I know HDD space is cheap, but if it's possible to save resources it'd be nice to do so. ~20% of my HDD space is significant.

@yoshuawuyts Not no mention the time it takes to copy all that stuff. I can have kids and grow old before npm install is done. -
@jonkoops Doing it locally with an SSD I'm almost always done in <1 sec with `--cache-min Infinity` enabled. Usually about 40mb of overhead - 1 more reply
