I never use Node's sync API. Even when writing tests I prefer to use async methods. The more you use a thing the better you become at it.

@yoshuawuyts I use fs.readFileSync for “I could inline this string but I’d rather not.” Otherwise I’m with ya.
@bendrucker only ever use that in conjunction with `brfs`, which is kind of cheating since haha.

@yoshuawuyts Yup, very true. I’ll pull static text out to txt/md to be inlined w/ brfs. Async loading that would be a pain.
