there are a million different HTTP clients on npm. all of them are HUGE when browserifying :( e.g. request is 742kb after uglifyjs

@mattdesl assertion libraries *might* still have a leg up. Fwiw I prefer nets for libs, whatwg-fetch for apps @zeke @sindresorhus @maxogden
