ES6 promises are like ants: dealing with one is fine, dealing with a lot is tough, and where there's one there's always more.

@slicknet I don't mind them for simple tasks. I find them verbose, and they force callback hell. Problem is they're taking over everything.
@trevnorris @slicknet the implicit 'catch' is what rubs me the wrong way. Everything else can be dealt with one way or another.
