Setting up a new laptop today and using `winget` (new official(!) pkg manager) to do it. It feels as smooth, if not smoother than Homebrew. *way* better than the default pacman/yay experience. If winget will come pre-installed on machines in the future: ooophhhh. This is good.

First time hearing about AppGet -- between Chocolatey, Scoop, and I guess AppGet it seems that overall having a built-in package manager makes sense and is a net gain for end-users. Not sure what to make of the story tho.
