What I like about this is that "HTTP Body" in APIs then becomes a question of: "how many" and "with what semantics". Can probably create a set of APIs that correctly cover the full range of options here. With nice defaults for the base cases, etc.

Ahh, yes entirely accurate! I guess that's the more important difference hey. multipart -> multiple bodies h2 push -> multiple responses

depending on how you phrase it they could also be seen as sort of "opposites", right?
HTTP/2 push: many response payloads for one request payload; multipart form: one response payload for many request payloads. -
I think the division is slightly different: a server can send multiple responses both trough multipart and h2 push. The difference is in how these are interpreted by clients.
