Honest question; I can't think of anything I have that relies on this? But then also don't maintain many applications.

Has to do with some application logging and capturing span info as far as I understand it, but my coworker worked on this crate so I'm very hazy on the details

Haa, that's v interesting. I remember wondering about this when authoring async-log. Seems like drop order with logging is a practical problem as well hmm. Not that it's any help to you here, but it's got me thinking now for sure.

Not about vectors, but there is an idiom in Gecko's C++ that we translated as-is in Servo's innards: ``` let _ac = AutoCompartment(cx, obj); do_stuff_with_objects_from_that_compartment(); ``` If _ac is ever changed to drop before the rest of the block, everything will break.
