Oh wow, cashew cream is fantastic! Never had it before, but made a batch yesterday. Took like 5 mins total (not including soaking the cashews); and fried it up with pasta for lunch today. Just add some salt, pepper, garlic -- it's sooo good!

250 grams of untoasted soaked cashews, half a cup (or so) of water, put it in the blender until smooth. Cashews should be raw (untoasted) and submerged in water for about 6hrs; that way they get all squishy and creamy when blended with water. Tastes real good with salt!

I really want to try blending 500 grams of cashew next. Should make about 2 tupperware containers worth of cream; which should work well. It's such a nice ingredient :D

if you mix cashew milk with any other nut milk it ups their creaminess significantly

Ohh, taking note! Looking to make ultimate veg versions of several traditional peruvian dishes, so being able to up the creaminess is incredibly useful!
