Hey Front End Twitter I'm trying to download deps in a Dockerfiles with yarn install. Now this works outside of Docker fine and I deleted my local cache to make sure it pulled from npm, but inside the Docker container it can't find anything? Am I missing something? 1/2

Like do I have to open up ports so that it can reach out to npm to install stuff? Seems pretty silly to me to have to do that but I'm at wits end here so any help is appreciated 2/2

It has been 0 days since Docker made me sad. How is it so hard to get shit to work with it. Fuck.

Maybe try running `npm install --log-level=silly` to see if it can give you more info?

It also sometimes doesn’t actually show all things (and then fail to install your dependencies, but not actually fail the command). been there, never found a solution other than „try again“

Oh lol, yes def have written `while do` loops in shell for installs in the past, just to make sure we'd at least try to install a few times before giving up.
