I guess a problem I have is that my relationship with my work is not great. Every project I've embarked on in the last few years has felt like a career defining moment. The most important thing I've worked on, and possibly might ever work on.

I try not to think of it as a single spectrum, but a multi dimensional thing where I can care more about work in good ways and less about it in other ways and make myself feel better and less stressed. I think I am about 50% successful though

Right on! I’ve burned out pretty bad in the past from always being on. Nowadays, I show up and try hard from 9 to 5, and then leave it at work. No slack or github on my phone, just be away. Lot of people at Mozilla seem to do this with good results
