I guess a problem I have is that my relationship with my work is not great. Every project I've embarked on in the last few years has felt like a career defining moment. The most important thing I've worked on, and possibly might ever work on.

I think there are several ways forward here for me: - Care less about my work - Care more about other things I think with better planning I can lower the work pressure I feel and give myself room. Figuring out what's happening around me may pull me away from work. Worth a try

My fav part of this is that you walk your cats I know you’re talking about important stuff but SORRY I GOTTA WALK THE CATS

Nori starts howling at the door from 19:30 until midnight unless we take her for a walk. Chashu starts sad-meowing if we take Nori but not her. It's heart breaking.

I hear ya. Something I saw years ago on the door of a professor: "Your work is not the most important thing you do" So easy to fall into it, though. I'm the same way where I'l go through periods where it's so easy to put that extra time in. Inevitably, that doesn't last.
