I'm not clear on the third type of self (&self, &mut self, self <-- this one) from the example. You call it an "owned value" and say it "can no longer be used". Like, within this function? By anyone ever again? Is it, like, a copy?

Ever again! Instead of being a shared handle to a thing, you're passing the thing itself around. Once you move it, it's gone to wherever you've moved it. Move it into a function means it can go two ways: - return from the function - drop it, and deallocate
