Did 10 perfect pushups in a row today. Aced it.

Flat hand; it's hard b/c of RSI I've had, but happy I'm finally able to!

I, bizarrely, find flat hand pushups super uncomfortable. :( Did thousands of knuckle ones in martial arts training in my youth though, so they feel really natural.

haaa, yeah I can see that -- fee like knuckle pushups probably create better posture overall (can't shift weight as much) But I find those really uncomfortable, soooo :P

I prefer flat as well, it's also just the army standard so might as well practice on it. I also like to do diamond pushups for a real intense workout. Highly reccomend giving em a shot when you feel comfortable with like 30 - 40 pushups or feel like you're plateauing at all

Ohh, 30-40 in a single set or as part of multiple sets?

Single set. By that point you should have enough practice/muscle mass to do at least a few diamond ones.

As like a reference I have to do a minimum of 42 in two minutes at my age for our PT test. Max is 70. It's definitely doable! You already got to 10 which is the hardest part. Now that your in the habit and keep doing it 30 will happen in no time
