when is docker-for-toddlers coming out?? i just want reproducible builds without having to deal with low-level unix socket permission errors

High hopes for WASM here. As close to a modular, versioned OS as I think is feasible. In particular wasm-time seems something to watch.

Ha, yes I totally am. But if this layer works out well enough there's a fair chance we'll be able to increasingly cut out parts of the underlying OS. There's already been experiments making WASM work on ring zero. Firecracker-esque systems may take it even further in the future
