I'm so incredibly stoked WASM works at all in Rust. There are a lot of rough edges, but hey we have access to the full DOM API, we have rich data types automatically converted, and even async works!!! I really want to be spending more time with this, it's hard to stop.

does porting choo + friends even make sense when the selling point of the libs is their tiny size? wasm32-unknown-unknown yields *huge* blobs right now

I think their tiny size is only one aspect; the abstractions they provide is the other big point. And in Rust thanks to the type system, traits and drop guards we can create much more refined abstractions. Once those are in place we can always work backward to optimize code size
