I guess I kind of have to accept that vim / tmux on WSL is not pleasant. VS code makes it manageable.

The latency is disruptive. Also Unicode rendering is messed up in many ways, bleeding over into escape codes and what not. I could probably get it to a workable state with some effort, but I really don't want to spend my time on that.

Not yet, wsl 1 and current terminal. Excited for the new versions of both!
