So I’ve been porting simdjson to @rustlang and using serge’s son-bench I’m kind of hitting a near hard limit of 730MB/s. I first though it’s my code (and to a degree it is) but I’ve now run it on 2 machines with different OS and CPU and it’s always the same #. Any thoughts?

Good thought, checked, that, but the data is stored ahead of time in memory then run over that.

Was looking at this and wondering, why does the input data have to be &mut? I would have expected it to be immutable... https://github.com/Licenser/simdjson-rs/blob/serde/benches/parse.rs#L37 … in any event, this is really cool and look forward to experimenting more with it!
