Hah, yeah that site is great! It's just one of those gotchas that unless someone tells you about, the chances are low you'll run into this. Hence my position that there should be a successor to `target=_blank` that does the right thing by default. Too many people get this wrong.

Opening links in new windows is less accessible. Many devs overuse it.

Why is it less accessible? Do screen readers not inform the user that a new tab has opened?
