Woahhhhh, flat_tree's new depth function is actually more ridiculous than I thought it was. Because we pass it `usize` and not `u8`, the resulting assembly for calculating the depth of a node is: depth: not rdi tzcnt rax, rdi ret Yep, 3 instructions.

Haha, yeah for sure! -- when people say v8 contains one of the most advanced compilation pipelines currently around, they're not kidding.
