Possibly. I think we could also come up with a "breaking off" point for the Web when ES modules and Dat support lands. Same with node, actually, since ES modules aren't super backwards compat. Seems like a very opportune time to unify them.

Im unclear about the difference between "making backwards incompatible changes" and "breaking off point". Are they the same thing, or am I missing something?
